{"id":15,"date":"2012-04-25T10:00:52","date_gmt":"2012-04-25T17:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/doluanfoundation.org\/?page_id=15"},"modified":"2012-12-03T20:17:37","modified_gmt":"2012-12-04T04:17:37","slug":"contact-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/doluanfoundation.org\/?page_id=15","title":{"rendered":"Services \/ Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: blue;\"><strong>PROCESS TO FIND ABANDONED \/ ORPHANED AND DISABLED CHILDREN<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Managing Process<\/span>: \u00a0The Do Luan Foundation has relied on teachers, religious leaders or community leaders for finding abandoned \/ orphaned and disabled children. \u00a0The Foundation works hand-in-hand with teachers\/leaders to identify certain regions of Vietnam where there are greatest need for assistance and where financial scholarship could make the most impact to abandoned\/orphaned and disabled children.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Leaders Qualification<\/span>: \u00a0The following criteria to select qualifying\u00a0school teachers, religious leaders or community leaders to identify abandoned\/orphaned and disabled children:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit or interview teachers\/leaders thru one-on-one discussion, phones and emails.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect the dwelling places and caring for abandoned\/orphaned and disabled children.<\/li>\n<li>Recommendation letter of qualifying children from teachers\/leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Vocational and job training programs for children.<\/li>\n<li>Medical clinic for providing affordable services for children.<\/li>\n<li>Clean drinking water and food for children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. \u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Children Qualification: \u00a0<\/span>The following criteria to determine qualifying abandoned\/orphaned and disable children:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the required paperwork of qualifying children such as birth certificates, school progress reports, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize the children need based on severe poverty and neglect victim.<\/li>\n<li>Qualified children need to have clean background records. \u00a0The records will be screened by teachers or leaders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: blue;\"><strong>GUIDELINE FOR SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Objective:<\/span>\u00a0 The initial and main objectives of the Foundation are to provide financial assistance to the underprivileged children and students through scholarships and grants.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The main activities of the Foundation are to make educational grants to the underprivileged children \/ students to help them improve their economic conditions and better contribution to society.\u00a0 The Foundation will only make one kind of educational grant:\u00a0 scholarships to young students who demonstrate financial needs and who demonstrate potential for benefit from further education through their past scholastic achievements.\u00a0 The grants are not to be repaid.<\/li>\n<li>A small amount of scholarship funds are made to orphan students who demonstrate financial needs and who demonstrate potential for benefit from further education through their past scholastic achievements;
